Who is it for?

A private retreat for Emergency Service and ADF families

Banks Creek Retreat is a private camping facility for all Emergency Service and ADF families.

Sit around a fire with friends. Feel safe.

People who work in the Emergency Services and ADF are often exposed to situations that the general population do not understand.  These situations often affect us deeply. We talk a different language and have a unique way of debriefing with our colleagues, family and friends.

Consider Banks Creek Retreat as a place sit around a fire with like-minded people. A place to tell you war stories, share your hurts and relax and rejuvenate away from the general public.

That’s why we are building this retreat. This place is for you, your family and friends. We want you to feel safe when you come out and visit.

Banks Creek Retreat is a community of like-minded people who want to support each other.

To use the facility you must be a member of the following groups:

  • Emergency Services – Police, Fire, Ambulance, Paramedics, SES, Corrections
  • Australian Defence Force – Army, Navy, Airforce

If you have served in any of these organisations you are welcome to use this facility free of charge.
